Japanese Yanmar Combine Harvester distributes among farmers

Modern Japanese rice cutting, threshing, cleaning & packaging machine Yanmar Combine Harvester were distributed by Government Subsidy to the farmers across the country on 6th April.

Honorable Agriculture Minister Dr. Mohammad Abdur Razzaque inaugurated the distribution program.The program was held simultaneously across the country with the presence of Directors of the Department of Agriculture Extension (DAE).

On the program, 40 Yanmar harvesters were distributed in 14 Upazillas of the country simultaneously. It should be mentioned that Yanmar harvester has a Smart Assist Remote system (SA-R) which is a unique addition to the agriculture of Bangladesh. With the help of SA-R, harvester owners would be able to get all the necessary information on the harvester. Not only would that but, Government would also able to collect information on the harvesters that would be distributed by Govt. Subsidy.    

Yanmar harvester can cut, thresh, clean, and pack paddy of 1 acre of land within 1 hour and it takes only 8-10 liters of fuel to harvest this amount of land. Besides, Yanmar is suitable for both dry and muddy land. Also, lodged paddy can easily be harvested with this harvester. Moreover, this harvester features 6 sensors that prevent sudden engine breakdown. Profit per acre is BDT 3,500-4,000. By using Yanmar harvester, 61% of cost & 70% of labor can be saved. Yanmar harvester can harvest the paddy of 6-7 acres of land per day.
