ZTE’s four IP series products certified for MEF3.0
ZTE has received MEF3.0 certification for seven IP offerings as well
ZTE Corporation, an international telecommunications, enterprise and consumer technology solutions provider for mobile internet, on Saturday announced that its four IP series products have passed the Metro Ethernet Forum (MEF) 3.0 certification test.
The MEF3.0 certified IP products cover multiple scenarios, including MAN, data center egress, IPRAN core, aggregation and access, read a press release.
ZTE has received MEF3.0 certification for seven IP offerings as well, it added.
The seven IP products are composed of one high-end router ZXR10 M6000-8S Plus and six multi-service packet products: ZXCTN 9000-8EA, ZXCTN 9000-18EA, ZXCTN 9000-3EA, ZXCTN 9000-2E10A, ZXCTN 6120H-A, and ZXCTN 6180H-A.
MEF is a global industry alliance in the field of metro ethernet, and an authoritative metro ethernet certification body in the industry. MEF 3.0 is the latest version of the specification and certification plan based on the operator's new generation carrier ethernet standard CE2.0, and is designed for flexibility and continuous increment, the press release noted.
