Antonio Banderas says he has tested positive for the coronavirus
The actor tweeted about testing positive
Spanish Actor Antonio Banderas has tested positive for coronavirus.
The actor, who is best known for roles in The Mask of Zorro and Once Upon a Time in Mexico, tweeted that he was spending his 60th birthday today (10 August) in quarantine after testing positive for Covid-19.
"I want to make public that today... I am forced to celebrate my 60th birthday following quarantine after having tested positive for the Covid-19 disease, caused by the coronavirus," he said on Twitter.
Banderas assured fans that he was doing "relatively well" and that the only symptoms he had experienced was feeling slightly more tired than usual.
Should his health allow, the actor said that he would spend his time quarantining reading and writing.
