Covid positivity rate rises to 8.62% with 1 death reported in 24hrs

Bangladesh reported one death and 222 cases from Covid-19 in the last 24 hours till 8am Saturday.

The positivity rate rose to 8.62%, up from 8.34% a day ago, during the same period as 2,574 samples were tested across the country.

Also, 247 Covid patients recovered in the last 24 hours taking the recovery to 97.22%.

So far 29,332 people have died and 20,14,577 tested positive for the virus in Bangladesh since 2020.
