Cricketer Nafees Iqbal tests positive for Covid-19

He also requested the countrymen to pray for his early recovery. He is staying at his residence in Chattogram and taking treatment from home.

Sirajuddin Md Alamgir, former general secretary at Chattogram Divisional Sports Association and Nafees' relative said, "Nafees was tested positive for the coronavirus around a week ago. After consulting with doctor, he is staying at home."
Nafees Iqbal is also the elder brother to Tamim Iqbal and the nephew of former Bangladesh captain, Akram Khan.
The right-handed batsman played in 11 test matches and 16 one day matches between 2003-2006.
