Dentist dies with Covid-19 symptoms in Brahmanbaria

A dentist died with Covid-19 like symptoms at a hospital in Brahmanbaria early Sunday.
Deceased Syed Shahnewaz, 50, had a dental clinic named 'Hakkani Dental Clinic' at Madhabpur Bazar in Madhabpur upazila of Habiganj.
However, his residence was in Kazipara Moholla in Brahmanbaria district town.

Shahnewaz suddenly started feeling severe respiratory problems on Saturday night. Then he was rushed to Brahmanbaria General Hospital around 1:30 am on Sunday. Later, his condition deteriorated and he died, according to the family of the deceased and the hospital authorities.
Dr Shawkat Hossain of the hospital said Shanewaz had breathed his last at around 5:00 am.
Dr Shawkat also said, "We wanted to take Shahnewaz's sample for Covid-19 test. But his family members said they did not want to do the test and left the hospital with the body."
