DGHS infobot on WhatsApp to provide information about Covid-19
A mobile application named “CoronaBD” has also been launched, through which people can verify their symptoms
In a bid to provide latest information about Covid-19 to people, the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) and the ICT Division have jointly launched an infobot service on WhatsApp.
People will easily get any kind of information about coronavirus in Bangla from the infobot, according to a DGHS press release issued on Thursday.
Zunaid Ahmed Palak, minister of state for the ICT Division, inaugurated the service on Thursday afternoon through a video conference.

A mobile application named "CoronaBD" has also been launched, through which people can verify their symptoms, the press release stated. The app is available for download on the Google Play store.
To start using this service, people will have to save any one of these two numbers to their contact lists: +880167830056 or +8801678380056. Then, a text saying "Hello" has to be sent to either of these numbers via WhatsApp, and the service will start automatically.
