Govt allocates Tk41.5 crore for isolation centre at ICCB
The money will be spent in 25 sectors of the isolation centre including cleanliness, oxygen supply, water, electricity and internet
The health ministry has allocated Tk41.5 crore for the temporary Covid-19 isolation centre at the International Convention City Bashundhara (ICCB).
The amount will come from the budgetary allocation for the fiscal year 2019-20 under the unexpected expenditure management for the ministry's Finance Division, according to a health ministry office order issued on Tuesday.
"The money will be spent in 25 sectors of the isolation centre including cleanliness, oxygen supply, water, electricity and the internet," the order reads.
The office order further says the money has to be spent complying with all the government rules and regulations. The unused money (if there is any) has to be deposited to the government's treasury.
