Hungary, Bolivia want Covid vaccines from Bangladesh
"We will provide the vaccines to Hungary from the stock we have with the approval of the Prime Minister"
State Minister for Foreign Affairs Md Shahriar Alam today said that Hungary, a member of the European Union, has asked Bangladesh to provide 5,000 Covid vaccines.
The South American country, Bolivia has also asked for vaccine from Bangladesh, Shahriar Alam came up with the disclosure in the National Assembly on Sunday, reports Somoy News.
"We will provide the vaccines to Hungary from the stock we have with the approval of the Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina. However, the Prime Minister and the Ministry of Health will decide about providing doses to Bolivia," he said.

He added that 35 countries around the world have so far agreed to buy the vaccine. 22 countries have bought the vaccine, of which Bangladesh is one.
Calling for action against those who spread rumors about vaccinations, he said, "There is a law to take action against those who spread rumors. I am appealing to the Home Minister to enforce this law against the rumors circulating about Covid vaccine in the country."
