MTB employees donate one-day salary to help poor

Employees of the Mutual Trust Bank Limited (MTB) have donated their one-day salary for the welfare of the hardest-hit people during the nationwide shutdown due to the Covid-19 global pandemic, said a press release on Monday.
"The country and its people have given us many successes, and now it is our duty to stand beside the country and its people," said Syed Mahbubur Rahman, managing director and chief executive officer of the bank.
He also expressed his gratitude to all officials and employees of the bank for their support in this regard.
