Italy extends entry ban on travellers from Bangladesh
Earlier, the ban was imposed from 29 April to 12 May
Italy on Saturday has extended the entry ban on people travelling from Bangladesh in a move to prevent the spread of Covid-19 infections, according to a statement issued by the health ministry.
No Bangladeshi will be able to enter Italy until 15 May due to this travel restriction, confirmed the Italian Ministry of Health.
Earlier, the ban was imposed from 29 April to 12 May.
Apart from Bangladesh, citizens of India and Sri Lanka are barred from entering the country.
However, Italian citizens will be exempted from the ban.
