Two people were killed as trees fell on them during cyclone Bulbul in Shariatpur.

The deceased are Ali Baksh Saiyal, 70, resident of Deojuri Union of Nariya upazila and Alayea Begum, 38, wife of Azgar Gharami of Sidhalkura village in Damuda Upazila.

Upazila administration provided them with Tk25,000 as compensation.
