Police sue 8,000 college students, including DMRC, over vandalism, stealing ammo
The police have filed a case against 8,000 students of various colleges including Dr Mahbubur Rahman Mollah College (DMRC) in the capital on charges of vandalism and theft of magazines filled with bullets. Dhaka's Sutrapur Police Station Sub-Inspector AKM Hasan Mahmudul Kabir filed the case as the plaintiff yesterday.
25 students injured, no deaths in Demra clash, DMP clarifies
Rubbishing statements that students had died amid clashes between students of Dr Mahbubur Rahman Mollah College, Kabi Nazrul Government College and Government Shaheed Suhrawardy College today (25 November), the Dhaka police has said so far 25 were injured. In a statement issued by DMP Deputy Police Commissioner Muhammad Talebur Rahman, he stated that many had been spreading misinformation on social media saying two students had died, but this was not true.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu approved the emerging ceasefire deal with Hezbollah "in principle" during a security consultation with Israeli officials Sunday night, CNN reports citing a source familiar with the matter. Israel still has reservations over some details of the agreement, which were expected to be transmitted to the Lebanese government on Monday, the source said.
