NRB Global Bank launches two Islamic banking branches

NRB Global Bank has formally launched two Islamic banking branches at Chawkbazar in Dhaka and Chawkbazar in Chattogram.
Syed Habib Hasnat, managing director of the bank inaugurated the operations of the branches as the chief guest through a virtual platform on Sunday, said a press statement.
Additional Managing Director Md Golam Sarwar, Md Mostafizur Rahman Siddiquee, Kazi Mashiur Rahman Jayhad, Deputy Managing Director Mohammad Shamsul Islam and Ataus Samad, divisional heads, branch managers and distinguished clients were present on the occasion.

NRB Global Bank has been providing Islamic banking services along with conventional banking through the opening of Islamic banking window in the existing branches.
According to the press statement, the bank is expected to be transformed into a full-fledged Islamic bank from October next.
It is imperative that, through the latest technological support, the bank will provide quality service to the customers and will expand its network in home and abroad to provide "Great Experience" to its stakeholders.
