CAAB staff donate a day's salary and an additional Tk1 Crore to chief advisor's relief fund
The Civil Aviation Authority of Bangladesh (CAAB) has come forward to assist the flood victims in the Chittagong and Sylhet divisions, which have been severely affected by devastating floods.
The victims in these areas are facing a dire and unbearable situation. In response to this crisis, the CAAB has decided to donate a day's salary of all its employees, amounting to approximately Tk22 lakh, and an additional Tk1 crore from the board members' personal funds to the chief advisor's Relief Fund.
Furthermore, the CAAB staff are collectively organizing a donation drive, collecting both cash and essential items such as food, medicine, and other daily necessities. The response from CAAB employees at all levels has been overwhelming.
Through this initiative, the CAAB has demonstrated its compassion and reaffirmed its commitment to standing by those affected by the country's crisis.
