Daraz’s 11.11 Sale: Millions of shoppers, big savings, and record growth
Daraz, South Asia's leading e-commerce platform, has wrapped up its 7th annual 11.11 Biggest Sale of the Year, a 10-day event from November 11 to 21.
The sale attracted millions of shoppers, offering Tk50 crore in vouchers, free delivery, and discounts of up to 80%.
This year's sale featured a wide range of lifestyle products and everyday essentials, with mobile accessories, skincare, detergent, and body wash emerging as customer favourites. Categories such as fashion, groceries, and home appliances saw growth of over 2x compared to last year, reflecting shifting shopping preferences.
Well-known brands like Lotto, TECNO, and Dettol were among the top performers, reinforcing Daraz's commitment to offering trusted, high-quality products.
E-commerce continues to grow beyond urban areas, with nearly half of all orders coming from rural regions. Digital payments also soared, with more than a third of transactions completed via mobile financial services or bank cards, showing increasing trust in cashless shopping.
Daraz's logistics team ensured timely deliveries nationwide, even completing a record 582-kilometre journey from Chattogram to Dinajpur. AHM Hasinul Quddus Rusho, Daraz's chief corporate affairs officer, hailed the campaign's success, highlighting its role in connecting communities and supporting businesses.
