Janata Bank receives 'Remittance Award 2024'
Janata Bank PLC has been awarded the Remittance Award 2024 for being the third-highest remittance receiver bank for the fiscal year 2023-24.
The award was presented to Md. Mojibur Rahman, Managing Director of Janata Bank, at a ceremony held at the Osmani Memorial Auditorium in Dhaka on 18 December 2024, as part of the International Migrants Day and National Expatriates Day 2024 celebrations.
The Remittance Award was handed over by Dr. Asif Nazrul, Adviser to the Ministry of Expatriates' Welfare and Overseas Employment, and Asif Mahmud Sajeeb Bhuiyan, Adviser to the Ministry of Youth and Sports, Local Government, Rural Development, and Cooperatives.
