JCI Dhaka heritage announces new leadership for 2025
The Junior Chamber International (JCI) Dhaka Heritage chapter introduced its new committee for 2025 at the Annual General Assembly held at the Ascott Hotel, Dhaka.
The event marked an exciting new chapter for the organisation, as a fresh team of leaders came together to continue making a positive impact in the community.
JCI is a global organisation that supports young people aged 18 to 40, helping them develop leadership skills and participate in meaningful community projects. With a new leadership team, JCI Dhaka Heritage is ready to continue its mission of empowering youth and creating change.
Farahnaaz Feroz, the newly elected Local President (LP) for 2025, shared her plans for the next year. Ahsanul Haque Adnan, who will serve as Local Executive Vice President (LEVP), will join her in leadership. Together, they are ready to take the chapter to new heights.
Other key roles within the committee include Gazi Sani Isnine as Local Vice President, Md. Mustafizur Rahman Khan Rimaz as Immediate Past Local President (IPLP), and Zunaid Hossain as Secretary General. Tasmin Haque Tulin will be the Local Treasurer, while Hassan Haider Shuvo has been appointed General Legal Counsel.
The team also includes Naimul Islam, Shariful Islam, Md. Farhan Ahmed Mozumdar, Md. Saif-Ul-Alam and Benjir Abrar are the chapter's Local Directors. As explained by the immediate past local president, Md, the new committee members were selected based on their active participation in JCI's activities, discipline, and ability to contribute to the organisation's goals over the past year. JCI Dhaka Heritage was honoured with several prestigious awards this year for its exceptional contributions and accomplishments. The chapter received the Most Outstanding Local President award and recognition for the Most Outstanding Mental Health Awareness Project and the Most Outstanding Water Conservation Project. Additionally, the chapter was granted the President Excellence Award and the 100% Efficiency Award, reflecting the team's commitment to excellence and their outstanding efforts in various community-focused initiatives.
In her speech, Farahnaaz Feroz expressed her excitement about the upcoming year and the vital work ahead with projects focusing on supporting small businesses through technology-driven projects, mental health and public awareness campaigns, skill development and empowerment projects.
This event also celebrated the completion of 10 years of JCI Dhaka Heritage. Nafeez Imtiazuddin, a news media personality and Management Professional, was present as the guest of honour. Members of the National Governing Body of JCI Bangladesh and Past Presidents of JCI Dhaka Heritage attended the event.
With its new leadership team and award-winning legacy, JCI Dhaka Heritage is ready to make 2025 a year of growth, success, and community impact.
