Midland Bank and Chaldal signs MOU
Midland Bank PLC (MDB) signed an MoU with Chaldal.com.
Chaldal is the largest dedicated online grocery retailer in Dhaka, with more than 50,000 subscribers and 200+ business customers.
Under the terms of this MoU, all MDB Visa Debit, Credit, and Prepaid cardholders will enjoy a 5% discount on a minimum order of Tk.1999.00 twice a month.

Iftekharul Alam, Chief Operating Officer of Chaldal Payments Limited and Md. Rashed Akter, Head of Retail Distribution Division & Chief Bancassurance Officer from Midland Bank, signed the MoU on behalf of their respective organisations in a simple ceremony held on December 02, 2024, in the Board Room of the Bank's Head Office, located in Gulshan 2, Dhaka.
Md. Abed-Ur-Rahman, Head of Cards; Md. Rashadul Anwar, Head of PRD, Sazal Ahmed, Merchant Relationship Officer of MDB and Md. Shahriar Rubayet, Deputy Director of Chaldal Limited, were also present at the signing ceremony.
