National Bank wins 'Remittance Award 2024'
National Bank has been awarded the prestigious 'Remittance Award 2024' by the Ministry of Expatriates' Welfare and Overseas Employment for its outstanding contribution to remittance collection during the fiscal year 2023-24. The award ceremony took place on December 18 at the Osmani Memorial Auditorium in Dhaka, in celebration of 'International Migrants Day and National Expatriates Day 2024'.
Sheikh Akhter Uddin Ahmed, Deputy Managing Director, and Milton Roy, Head of the Foreign Remittance Division, accepted the award on behalf of National Bank. The award was presented by Dr. Asif Nazrul, Advisor to the Ministry of Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs, and the Ministry of Expatriates' Welfare and Overseas Employment, alongside Asif Mahmud Shojib Bhuyain, Advisor to the Ministry of Youth and Sports, and the Ministry of Local Government, Rural Development, and Co-operatives.
Md Ruhul Amin, Secretary of the Ministry of Expatriates' Welfare and Overseas Employment, and other distinguished guests graced the occasion.
