Novoair vows to reach new destinations by the end of 2023
Novoair, one of the country's leading private airlines, vowed to ensure enhanced passenger services through the expansion of domestic and international destinations, said a release on Monday, on the occasion of celebrating its 10th anniversary.
"We will work to become a boutique airline in the region in the coming days. Novoair is currently planning to expand its operations regionally to Southeast Asia and Gulf destinations in late 2023 or early 2024," said Mofizur Rahman, managing director of the airline.
He also said that the company will add more aircrafts to the fleet to expand its services.
"Ensuring on-time flight operations and safe travel is the highest prerogative of our business philosophy. We give equal importance to these two main mantras- safety and service," he added.
Novoair has served more than 55 lakh passengers by operating more than one lakh flights in 10 years by overcoming various challenges, said Mofizur Rahman.
Novoair operated the first flight on 9 January 2013, from the Dhaka to Chattogram route.
It is currently operating flights from Dhaka on domestic routes to Chattogram, Cox's Bazar, Sylhet, Jashore, Saidpur, Rajshahi, and international routes to Kolkata.
Besides, it is transporting passengers directly from Jashore to Cox's Bazar and from Rajshahi to Cox's Bazar.
