Six new Directors join Bangladesh Shilpakala Academy

Six new directors have been appointed in all six departments of Bangladesh Shilpakala Academy.

Five of them have officially joined Bangladesh Shilpakala Academy. 03 October 2024, Thursday afternoon, the director general of the academy. Among the 6 appointed directors are Mustafa Zaman in the fine arts department of Bangladesh Shilpakala Academy, Faiz Zaheer in the drama and film department, Mehjabeen Rahman in the music, dance and recitation department, Tanzim Wahab in the research and publication department, Abdul Halim Chanchal in the production department and A.F.M. in the training department. Later, the director general held a brief meeting with the academy's administration department and the directors. To speed up the activities of the academy, the director general highlighted the hope of strengthening creative activities and spreading cultural practices at the grassroots by amending laws and regulations, and ensuring financial and administrative transparency. At this time, he discussed the actions of all departments about the Annual Performance Agreement (APA). Academy Secretary Salahuddin Ahmed was present at the time.

On the morning of October 6, 2024, an introductory meeting of the directors will be held with the officers, artists and employees of all departments of the academy in the presence of the director general.
