Sk Bashir Uddin, the Managing Director of AkijBashir Group, has been recognised as the 'Best Businessperson of the Year' at the 22nd DHL-The Daily Star Bangladesh Business Awards.
This award celebrates his exceptional leadership and contributions to business innovation and social responsibility in Bangladesh.
Sk Bashir Uddin founded AkijBashir Group and transformed it into a diversified conglomerate with 18 business units across sectors, including ceramics, tableware, bathware, jute, particle board, doors, packaging, glass and more. The company operates in three countries and exports to over 25 nations, employing 26,000 people and driving significant economic growth through its focus on manufacturing and sustainability.
