Southeast Bank PLC elects new Vice Chairperson for the bank
Mrs Rehana Rahman has been elected as Vice Chairperson of Southeast Bank PLC's board of directors. She was unanimously elected at the Bank's 744th Board Meeting.
In the meeting, the Board of Directors expressed their high appreciation for the outgoing Vice Chairman, Mr Akikur Rahman, acknowledging his valuable contributions to the bank's development. They conveyed their confidence that he would continue fostering the bank's progress through his support and cooperation. The meeting concluded with everyone wishing him good health and a long life.
Mrs. Rehana Rahman is a prominent female entrepreneur in Bangladesh, holding various key roles across several organisations. She is the Managing Director of Bengal Tradeways Ltd. In addition to her role as a Director at Southeast Bank PLC, Mrs Rehana Rahman also serves as a Director at CHB Building Technologies Ltd. and the Bangladesh Chamber of Industries.
Mrs. Rehana Rahman is actively involved in various sociocultural organisations. She is a Founder Life Member and past Chairperson of North South University, a Member of the United Nations Association of Bangladesh (UNAB), and President of the Women Entrepreneurs Association of Bangladesh (WEAB). Additionally, she is a Member of the Gulshan Club, Banani Club, Boat Club, Purbachal Club, Baridhara Diplomatic Enclave Club, and the Bangladesh-India Friendship Club.
