Success Stories of AIUB Architecture Alumni
American International University - Bangladesh (AIUB) Architecture alumna Ms. Forhat Nazib Chowdhury has been awarded the prestigious Hubert H. Humphrey Fellowship for the 2024-2025 academic year at the University of California, Davis.
This esteemed fellowship, part of the Fulbright program under the U.S. Department of State, will allow her to delve deeper into her impactful areas of focus: Natural Resources, Environmental Policy, and Climate Change. She graduated from AIUB in 2014. Forhat's dedication to humanitarian work honed through her experience with Save the Children in Bangladesh, has profoundly shaped her commitment to environmental advocacy. She credits this transformative journey with helping her evolve into a compassionate professional ready to tackle the pressing challenges of our time.
Another AIUB Architecture alumna, Ms. Nahid Ferdous Dristy, has been selected for the prestigious Fulbright Foreign Student Program as she embarks on a new journey to pursue a Master of Urban and Regional Planning at Michigan State University. Dristy graduated from AIUB in 2015. Her passion for architecture and sustainable urban development has already left a meaningful mark in her role as a Research Architect at the Housing and Building Research Institute (HBRI).
