T.K. Group announces 'Pusti Verses of Light' Hifzul Quran Competition
T.K. Group has launched the Pusti Verses of Light Hifzul Quran competition to inspire and honour young Hafizes across Bangladesh. The initiative, unveiled at a press conference at Pan Pacific Sonargaon Hotel in Dhaka, aims to promote Quran recitation and memorization skills among youth.
T.K. Group's Business Director, Mohammad Mofassel Haque, emphasized the significance of spreading the Quran's message and announced that renowned international scholars would serve as judges, lending credibility and expertise to the competition. HR Director, Almas Raisul Ghani, highlighted the inclusion of female participants this year, marking a milestone in the event's history. Head of Brand and Communication, Mohammad Ibrahim Khalil, underlined the importance of nurturing the next generation of Hafizes, while Advisor Md. Mahfuzur Rahman expressed his hopes for the competition's success.
Scheduled to begin in December, the competition will feature participants aged 16 or younger from across the country. With the slogan "Konthey Chorak Pobitro Baani," the event will culminate in the grand finale in Dhaka during the holy month of Ramadan.

The judging panel includes esteemed Islamic scholars such as Qari Sheikh Ahmad Bin Yusuf Al-Azhari, Chairman of the International Quran Recitation Organization (Iqra); Hafiz Maulana Abdul Qader Rahmani, former Imam of Al-Kamal Mosque, Jeddah; and Hatem Jamil Mahmoud Suhemat from Jordan.
The total prize pool amounts to 40 lakh BDT. The first-place winner will receive 500,000 BDT, a full scholarship to an international university, and an opportunity to perform Umrah Hajj with a guardian. The second and third-place winners will receive scholarships, 300,000 BDT and 200,000 BDT respectively, along with additional prizes. Cash awards will also be distributed to participants ranked fourth through thirtieth.
The competition will air on DBC channel during Ramadan, uniting audiences with its message of faith and inspiration. This initiative is a testament to T.K. Group's commitment to fostering spiritual growth and celebrating the Quran's teachings.
