vivo and SOS Children's Villages host ‘Capture the Future - 2025’
vivo Bangladesh, in collaboration with SOS Children's Villages Bangladesh, has successfully concluded the second edition of its three-year CSR initiative, 'Capture the Future - 2025'. This year's winter camp was held in Khulna, continuing the project that began in 2024, aimed at fostering creativity in children through photography and videography.
The programme started with a two-day workshop on January 7 and 8, where young participants from across the country learned modern photography techniques using vivo smartphones. They captured images of historical landmarks in Khulna and Bagerhat.
The event concluded on January 9 with a closing ceremony, showcasing an exhibition of the children's photographs and a "memory lane" featuring highlights from last year. A traditional pitha festival added to the celebrations.
Additional District Commissioner of Khulna (Education and ICT), Sadia Afrin, attended as the Chief Guest, alongside officials from vivo Bangladesh and Pathshala Institute. Afrin praised the children's creativity and highlighted the importance of equipping them with technical skills for the future.
Tanzib Ahamed, Country Brand Manager of vivo Bangladesh, emphasised the project's role in sparking creativity, stating that technology drives progress. Tanvir Murad Topu from Pathshala South Asian Media Institute added that the workshop helps preserve heritage and inspires youth to share their stories through technology.
