Walton AC enters Cameroon market
Bangladesh's leading brand Walton has expanded its global presence by entering the Cameroon market with its air conditioners. The first shipment has already been dispatched, and a well-known trading firm in Cameroon will handle the sales and marketing of Walton ACs.
Md. Tanvir Rahman, Chief Business Officer of Walton AC, stated, "Walton is advancing in the international market with the ambition of becoming one of the top global consumer electronics brands. To achieve this, Walton is focusing on expanding its brand presence in Europe, America, Africa, the Middle East, and other Asian countries. The Cameroon market, with its significant potential, marks a strategic step in Walton's expansion into Africa."
Abdur Rouf, Vice-President of Walton's Global Business Division, added, "Walton AC stands out in the global market due to its advanced features, innovative designs, durability, and high quality. These attributes have earned the trust of international customers, enabling Walton to expand into new countries."
Walton's state-of-the-art manufacturing plant in Chandra produces a range of air conditioners, including split, ceiling, cassette, chiller, and VRF models, all designed with cutting-edge technology. Notably, Walton is the first in Bangladesh to use the globally recognised environmentally friendly R290 gas, a Class A3 natural hydrocarbon refrigerant with minimal environmental impact. Each Walton AC undergoes stringent quality control at the internationally certified testing lab Nasdat-UTS before being marketed worldwide.
