South Korean automobile giant Hyundai Motor Corporation entered into a strategic partnership with Fair Technology Ltd, the automotive vertical of Fair Group.

To provide seamless customer experience with automotive products and services to customers in Bangladesh, the two companies joined their hands, said a media statement issued on Saturday.
Officials of Fair Group said they initially started car sales and servicing of Hyundai Motor Corporations, but manufacturing cars in Bangladesh is the fundamental premise of their vision.
Ruhul Alam Al Mahbub, chairman of Fair Group said, "We are proud to announce our new journey in automotive industry with Hyundai and focus to make the auto industry grow through technology transfer, developing human resources and creating new employment."
"To this end, both Hyundai and Fair Group foster the philosophy of sustainability and a technologically advanced future," he added.
"Manufacturing cars in Bangladesh is the fundamental premise of our vision. Very soon, we will set up factory with direct assistance from HMC and necessary policy supports from our government," he continued.
According to the media statement, Hyundai, one of the global leading automobile brands, gained popularity for its futuristic design identity, reliable technology, leading warranty policy and premium feature.
Fair Technology, in collaboration with Hyundai, eyes at building a lifetime relationship with its customers by providing 'modern premium' experience both in-vehicle and out-of-vehicle in the country, it said.
Currently, the Fair Group is successfully manufacturing Samsung smartphones and consumer electronics and also running its own retail and enterprise business, distribution partners, franchisees across the country.
The group is an aspirant to enhance people's lifestyle in Bangladesh by providing products and services with innovative technology, quality and convenience in collaboration with leading global brands, the media release claimed.
Mutassim Daiaan, director of Fair Technology Ltd on Saturday announced the partnership between Fair Technology and Hyundai in Bangladesh and inaugurated the sales programme through a webinar in the capital.
Hamid R Chowdhury, advisor to Fair Group, Abu Naser Mahmud, head of sales of Fair Technology, Abul Hashem, head of service, Farid Al Shohan, product manager, joined the occasion among others.
Fair technology said, on this journey they are unveiling premium models of Hyundai passenger vehicles in sedan (Sonata, Elantra), SUV (Palisade, Tucson, Santa fe, Venue), Microbus and Ambulance (H-1), covered by three years or one lakh km manufacturer's warranty.
All of these vehicles are packed with user centric features, intelligent technology, and with premium leather seats, sunroof, stylish alloys and modern amenities and all of these cars are completely manufactured in South Korea, the company said.
Through an official message, YS Lee, vice president, Asia and Pacific Regional HQ, HMC, said "With customer-oriented strategies, we will be able to meet customer expectations in Bangladesh through futuristic design and user centric driving devise that would elevate customers' lifestyle."
