Raquib elected new BMCCI president
The new leadership team were elected for the term 2020-2021
Raquib Mohammad Fakhrul (Rocky), Chairman of Ayurvedia Pharmacy (Dacca) Ltd and and Mahbubul Alam, Director & Chief Operating Officer of Quasem Food Products Limited, have been elected as President and Secretary General respectively of the Bangladesh-Malaysia Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BMCCI).
The new leadership team were elected for the term 2020-2021 at the 18th annual general meeting (AGM) of the organisation on Saturday, said a press release.
Md. Anwar Shahid, Managing Director of Shimex International Ltd. and Mahtab Uddin Ahmed, Managing Director & CEO of Robi Axiata Limited as Vice Presidents respectively for the same period.

Additionally, Dato' Goonahlam Subramaniam, Director of K-Link International Bangladesh Pvt Ltd and Syed Moinuddin Ahmed, In Charge of GD Assist Ltd, have been elected as Joint Secretary General and Treasurer respectively.
The other elected Directors are KM Mijanur Rahman, Managing Directorof Maria Food Products Ltd, Jamilur Rahman, Managing Director of Extol (Bangladesh) Ltd, Rubaiyat Ahsan, Managing Director of ALLIANT Limited, Mohammad Ershad Hussain Rana, Chairman & CEO of Dawn Trading International, Farzana Chowdhury, Director of Nascom (Pvt) Ltd, AKM Shamsuzzaman, Proprietor of Green Traders, Engr. Md. Mehedi Hasan, Managing Director of Lecture Publications Ltd, Mahbub Alam Shah, Executive Director of SMH New Generation Apparels Ltd, Motaher Hoshan Khan, Director of Bengal Technological Corporation Ltd, Sifat Ahmed Chaudhuri, Director Finance of Krishibid Firm Limited.
