Sharif Anwar Hossain elected DBA president

Sharif Anwar Hossain, the managing director of Sahidullah Securities, has been elected president of DSE Brokers Association (DBA).
He was the vice-president of the brokers' association of the premier bourse of Bangladesh.
In the 66th meeting of the DBA board of directors on Tuesday, Richard D` Rozario, the managing director of Global Securities, and Mohammad Ali, the managing director of Dhaka Bank Securities Ltd, have been elected senior vice president and vice-president respectively.

Sharif Anwar Hossain will replace Shakil Rizvi who recently resigned from the DBA to join the DSE board of directors.
In 2014, DSE Brokers Association of Bangladesh was formed as an umbrella platform after the demutualisation of the country's premier bourse.
