IDCOL registers Tk401.27cr profit last year
The company’s annual general meeting on Wednesday also announced dividends for 2019 financial year
Infrastructure Development Company Limited (IDCOL), a state-owned specialised non-bank financial institution, registered a profit of Tk401.27 crore in 2019.
The IDCOL in the 23rd annual general meeting (AGM) on Wednesday declared Tk130 crore in dividends from the profit for its stakeholders.
From the dividends, Tk65 crore will be paid to the government in cash dividend and Tk65 crore will be used for increasing the company's paid-up capital to Tk715 crore from the existing Tk650 crore by issuing bonus shares.
IDCOL Chairman and also the Secretary to the Economic Relations Division Fatima Yasmin presided over the meeting.
Among others, IDCOL shareholder and Principal Secretary to the PM Dr Ahmad Kaikaus, IDCOL shareholder and national revenue board Chairman Abu Hena Md Rahmatul Muneem, IDCOL Director, shareholder and Finance Division Secretary Abdur Rouf Talukder and IDCOL shareholder and Secretary to the Ministry of Commerce Dr Md Jafar Uddin were present at the AGM.
