Stocks slump amid selling pressure
DSE turnover rose by 9% to Tk205.15crore during the period till 11:30 am
Indices of the both stock exchanges witnessed a big fall in the first one-and-half-hour trading session on Monday.
In this session, DSEX, the key index of Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) dropped 52.75 points or 1.08% to 4,788.
The benchmark index CASPI at the Chittagong Stock Exchange (CSE) lost 124 points to 13,739.
Moreover, the Shariah-based DSES index fell by 19.17 points to 1,101 and the blue-chip index DS30 fell 25.30 points to 1,660.
However, Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) turnover rose by 9% to Tk205.15crore during the period till 11:30 am.
Following the investors movement 62 companies share price advanced, while 184 issues fell and 81 remain unchanged during the session at the DSE.
