Directors geared up with dramas for Pohela Falgun and Valentine’s Day
Small screen stars are passing a busy time as they are shooting for the special programmes of Falgun and Valentine’s Day
Pohela Falgun and Valentine's Day are knocking at the door. TV channels of the country are gearing up for their special dramas on this celebratory occasion. Telefilms as well as dramas are to be premiered on various TV channels and streaming platforms.
Small screen stars are passing a busy time as they are shooting for the special programmes of Falgun and Valentine's Day. Actors like Afran Nisho, Ziaul Faruq Apurba, Mehazabien Chowdhury, Tanjin Tisha, Mosharraf Karim, Nusrat Imroz Tisha,
Chanchal Chowdhury, Tawsif Mahabub and Sabnam Faria are simultaneously shooting for their respective dramas and telefilms.
Top-tier directors of the industry are all involved in drama production. Almost every prominent director has at least three dramas up their sleeves.
The directors who are in line to premier their content on streaming sites and cable televisions include Shihab Shahin, Mizanur Rahman Aryan, Mabrur Rashid Bannah, Mostofa Kamal Raz and many more.
Shihab Shaheen is working on three dramas. He is making a sequel to his previous drama "Obujh Diner Golpo." However, shooting for the other two dramas has not finished yet.
Mostofa Kamal Raz, filmmaker and drama director, has also worked in three dramas. His dramas are "I hate love story," "Very Recently" and "Shei to Ele Tumi."
Mizanur Rahman Aryan has worked on four dramas which are "Gojodontini," "Charur Biye," "Protidin," and "Obujh Balok Bujh Balika."
He has already finished shooting for two of the dramas.
Mehazabien Chowdhury and Tawsif Mahabub have been shooting for a drama called "Kono" for the last two days. The drama is directed by Mahmudur Rahman Himi.
When asked about the drama, Mahmudur Rahman Himi said, "The drama has been written by lyricist Asif Iqbal. The story of the drama is based in Chattogram."
"The drama will be premiered on the Gaanchill YouTube channel. However, we still have not decided on which TV it will be telecast on."
Tahsan Rahman Khan and Purnima have paired up for the first time for a Valentine's Day special drama. They will share the screen in a drama called "Valobashabashi." The story of the drama is about a person dealing with an over possessive partner. The drama is directed by Sagar Jahan.
Close-Up has been producing Valentine's Day special dramas for the past few years. The audience can submit their stories that will be adapted into a drama. It won't be an exception this year as Close-Up is again coming up with a trio of love stories on Valentine's Day. The title of this year's programme is called "Kache Ashar Aushomapto Golpo."
While talking about Valentine's Day special programmes, Tarek Akanda, the head of programmes at Banglavision, said, "We have some special arrangements for three days during Pohela Falgun and Valentine's day. These will be telecast on 13 to 15 February."
Director Shihab Shaheen talked about the upcoming dramas saying, "Every director and actor wants to give their best and I certainly believe the dramas will be outstanding."
