ConfigVR & ConfigRbot: Building the future
ConfigVR and ConfigRbot mostly provides services based on AR/VR solutions, and virtual tours for the Bangladesh market, especially in real estate and education industry
One of Rudmeela's company, ConfigVR, works with augmented reality (AR), virtual reality (VR), mixed reality, 3D modelling, game development, and also develops virtual tours while her other venture ConfigRbot works around robotics, artificial intelligence, chatbots, cyber security, internet of things (IoT) and tech-based skill development courses.
She wants to merge ConfigRbot's activities with the healthcare, automotive and electronics industry to further streamline assistance during critical situations that require immediate attention.
ConfigRbot's most exciting new products include the self-navigating automated mobile robot (AMR). AMRs have a wide variety of applications ranging from warehouse robots to hospitality.
AMRs can be used with a UVC sterilisation kit, which is used in large spaces such as hospitals, schools, malls to fight Covid-19. Rudmeela has already gotten a few project leads with the latest additions.
She has recently added five new robots and two new IoT devices to her beaming line-up of robots.
Her fascination with robots, robotics and gadgets began in childhood and grew in adulthood as she nurtured the desire to launch her own robotics company. She started with ConfigVR, built on it and then launched ConfigRbot.
Robotics technology influences every aspect of work and home with the goal to assist human beings in their day-to-day activities with intelligent machines.
It is set to become a driving technology underpinning a whole new generation of autonomous devices and cognitive artefacts that, through their learning capabilities, interact seamlessly with the world around them, thus bridging the missing link between the digital and physical worlds.
This is where Rudmeela's work comes into play. ConfigVR mostly provides services based on AR/VR Solutions, and virtual tours for the Bangladesh market, especially in real estate and education industry. With ConfigRbot, she plans to go into automation for industries in Bangladesh.
Business for both ConfigVR and ConfigRbot is expanding rapidly since companies require tech support that boils over to robotics-related services such as the ones ConfigVR and ConfigRbot provide.
Even more, the usage of robotics is also gaining popularity at home with intelligent robot vacuum cleaning devices such as Roomba. According to Rudmeela, "We are already stepping up to the world stage with skilled tech labour. We should keep our focus on quality and innovation and carry the momentum forward."
She also opines that it is possible to manufacture such small robots domestically from Bangladesh currently.
Rudmeela mentioned that the goal for ConfigVR and ConfigRbot is to promote business developments between the US and Bangladesh.
"The company teams are based in the US, Europe and Bangladesh. ConfigVR and ConfigRbot are working towards giving people the power to build the infrastructure and community to bring the world closer together, chief among which is to implement AR/VR for training, manufacture local smart devices and robots, and create a global brand name for Bangladesh and the US."
