Having been pigeonholed in your house for more than a year by now has been frustrating, to say the least. Staying awake is a struggle, so much so, that you find yourself napping multiple times during the day, even more so during classes.
You ponder over how you are not getting anything done in life, which is ironic since when things were normal, all you wanted was a little bit of free time. Therefore, these apps can help you to manage your schedule and daily tasks better, while simultaneously motivating you to be productive and organised.
1. Todoist
As the name suggests, it is one of the best task management apps with a very clean and interactive GUI. Todoist can help you to organise your daily activities and tasks, set (location-based) reminders and due dates, along with priority and tags.
The app even lets you collaborate on projects with multiple users. While there is a paid version for this app, most of the features can be availed in the free version.
2. Google Calendar
With so many online activities going on these days, you can easily forget when your online class is or when the last date for registering for a competition is, or the schedule of a seminar, or simply any commitments that you have to keep. But do not worry because Google calendar has got you covered; it can solve all of the aforementioned scenarios by quickly scheduling your meetings, events, tasks, and event reminders. It is a very effective tool to assist you to get on top of your daily tasks and events.
3. RescueTime
Our phones are addictive, there is absolutely no doubt about it. How many times have you found yourself losing track of time while scrolling your screen when you opted for a 5-minute break? That is where RescueTime comes in.
It is a time management app that can track active windows, websites visited, and programs used on your device. So, you can now easily analyse how much time you are spending on social media sites for instance, and bring about the necessary changes to use your time more efficiently.
4. Evernote
If you randomly want to jot down a thought or a reminder, Evernote is a must-use app. It is an extremely useful note taking app that lets you take notes and organise all your ideas in one place
What is more, is that the notes need not be typed in, you can simply use photos, audio, digital sketches, and even PDFs! However, the free version only allows you to sync between two devices and limits you to adding 60MB of new notes per month.
