Praava's first priority is to provide comfort for patients. In Praava, every doctor has to attend to a patient for at least 15 minutes with empathy, dignity and respect, whereas some other top hospitals do not even bother to spare a minute per patient. 

Here, everything is updated and managed by technology. Previous medical records of patients are scanned and uploaded in the hospital's database, and this can be synced with their portal app, and mailed to patient as well.

Sylvana Q Sinha, founder, managing director, and chief executive officer of Praava Health, went through some terrible experiences in her personal life, which led her to establish the healthcare centre that provides the best hospitality and service. 

In her words, "A few years ago, my mother was hospitalised for basic surgery in one of Bangladesh's top hospitals, but she suffered serious complications and the doctors did not seem to care much about what we were going through."

This incident made her think about those millions of people in Bangladesh who do not have the privilege to get a second opinion or go abroad for treatment.

To solve this problem, she went on a global listening tour to identify the biggest problems and the most impactful solutions. She counted it as an opportunity to find a solution. And she spent a lot of time in thinking about this tremendous need and turning it into a revolution in healthcare.
