Audi A6: The complete executive sedan

For decades, German automobile manufacturer - Audi has not just been selling cars. They have been selling comfort. Audi has managed to establish a strong brand image and reputation all across the globe with its line of luxury vehicles.

From its 2020 line-up, variants of A6, Q3, and Q8 made their way to the Bangladeshi market in June.

The 2020 A6 is an executive Sedan you can consider if you are thinking of going for BMW 5 Series or Mercedes E-Class.

Though the A6 comes in three different trim levels and with two engine options to choose from, the variant for Bangladesh's market is tailored according to market demographics; it is powered by a 2.0 litre inline four-cylinder engine that can deliver a maximum power of 190HP and 319.9Nm of torque. It comes with a 7-speed S-tronic transmission and can go from 0-100kmph in just 7.3 seconds.

All the engine types come with a mild-hybrid technology; fitted with a lithium-ion battery and belt alternator starter that allows engine-off coasting between 54kmph and 159kmph. This function results in the smoothest driving experience. You would hardly realise if the engine is turned on or off.

The Audi A6 2020 has been built on the same platform as of the A7 and A8; almost every feature and function available in the A7 and A8 have been implemented in the A6 as well.

On the inside, the A6 looks the same as the A7 and A8; top of the line features within a much competitive price compared to its older versions. To fulfil your infotainment needs, the A6 comes with a "MMI Touch" terminal; a 10.1-inces and 8.6-inches touchscreen and an analogue speedometer. There is also a 12.3-inces "virtual cockpit" instrument cluster option for you to choose from.

One of the best parts about the A6's interior is its lighting options. To set the perfect mood, the A6 offers a combination of 30 colours of ambient lighting. LED lights are placed throughout the cabin that can change colours according to your preference and exhibit the elegance of the A6' interior.

The 2020 A6 is bigger than its previous version; come with a more spacious seating arrangement. The interior has been crafted with standard leather upholstery. The front seats are equipped with eight-way power-adjustable heating, ventilation, and messaging options. 

Audi is known for its distinct design features that have been upholding the brand in the automotive market for decades; you can easily recognise an Audi car from a distance.

On the outside, the design of A6 resembles a combination of the trim levels of the Audi A4 and A8; similar yet distinguishable. It is fitted with a wide octagonal grille paired with sharp led headlights on the front and edged tail lights on the rear.

The taillights support a dynamic animation function that lights up from the inside towards the outside while the indicator is being used. It sports 18-inch alloy rims however, there are options to either choose 19-inch or 20-inch rims.

The Audi A6 2020 comes with five colour options; firmament blue metallic, myth black metallic, seville red metallic, ibis white, and vesuvius gray metallic. However, only the firmament blue metallic option is available in Bangladesh.
