Durga puja ends with idol immersion across country
Durga Puja, the largest religious festival for the Hindu community, has drawn to a close through the immersion of the goddess's idols in the waters.
Every year, thousands of people gather at the Buriganga River on the Bosila side for immersion on the final day of the Puja, Dashami for their "Pratima Bisharjan".
A similar festive atmosphere was captured at Cox's Bazar as well.
The photos were taken on Sunday (13 October) evening.
