Ananta Jalil’s ‘Netri - The Leader’ to be released in 80 countries
Borsha will portray a female politician while Ananta will play the role of her bodyguard
Popular actor Ananta Jalil has announced the production of his latest movie 'Netri - The Leader' to begin on 28 February and the movie is set to be released in 80 countries.
The announcement was made at a press conference jointly organised by Monsoon Films and Best Holdings Ltd at Le Meridien Dhaka, reports New Age.
Khadiza Parvin Borsha will portray a female politician while Ananta will play the role of her bodyguard. The actress confirmed to media outlets that she has modelled her character after Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina.
Ananta Jalil and Borsha were present at the press conference along with the General Manager of Le Meridien Dhaka Constantinos S Gavriel.
Ananta revealed that the launching ceremony of Netri - The Leader will take place on February 27 along with the release of the official poster and songs. The shooting will take place in Bangladesh, Iran, Turkey, and India.
The actor remarked that 100 Bangladeshi films can be made with the budget of this film pointing to the huge budget of this project.
'Netri - The Leader will revolve around a Sylhet-based female politician who aspires to work for the welfare of people. The film will be released in various languages including Bangla, English, Turkish and Iranian.
Bangladesh-based Monsoon Films, Turkey-based Burak Kanisicak 1956 Film Yapim and others will jointly produce the movie. It will be jointly directed by Ananta Jalil and Turkey-based Indian film director Upendra Madhav.
