Cyberpunk 2077 tops Best of Gamescom awards
Cyberpunk 2077 was the big winner at the 2020 European games fair
Cyberpunk 2077, the studio's long-awaited action role-player, was the big winner at the 2020 European games fair, winning the overall Best of Gamescom Award as well as prizes for best PlayStation game, best PC game, best roleplaying titles and the Most Wanted consumer prize voted on by regular gamers, Hollywood Reporter reports.
CD Projekt Red's Cyberpunk 2077 led all titles by capturing five categories, including this year's Best of Gamescom award on Sunday.
Little Nightmares 2 was the only other game to receive two awards, one for Best Nintendo Switch Game and one for Best Presentation/Trailer.
Beyond that, Microsoft had a good showing as the only platform holder honored, with the Xbox Series X taking home Most Wanted Hardware/Technology and the Dontnod-developed Tell Me Why named Best Xbox Game.
