Music composer Sujeo Shyam admitted to Kurmitola General Hospital
The music director had been suffering from prostate cancer for a long time
Sujeo Shyam, music composer and director of Shadhin Bangla Betar Kendra, has been admitted to Kurmitola General Hospital for breathing related problems.
The music director had been suffering from prostate cancer for a long time. High fever and breathing problem made his blood pressure unstable.
Sujeo Shyam was admitted to the hospital when his condition deteriorated on Tuesday evening. He was immediately admitted to Shyamoli's Bangladesh specialized hospital where he was quickly put under ventilation. After careful examination and test, the medical staffs concluded that he could potentially be Covid-19 positive.
As Bangladesh specialised hospital was not specialised in treating Covid-19 patients they suggested his family to transfer them into a hospital where he can get proper treatment.
The composer is currently getting treatment under Kurmitola hospital and is no longer on ventilation process. Shyam will be again tested for coronavirus later today.
The music director is famous for giving tune to the last song made under Shadhin Bangla Betar Kendra and the first song that was composed after the surrender of the Pakistani army.
Shadin Bangla Betar Kendra aired his famous songs such as "Rokto diye naam likhechi," "Aha dhonno amar jonmobhumi," "Ayre chashi mojur kuli," "Muktir eki poth shongram" and "Shonore tomra shono."
