Restaurants get permission to sell iftar items

Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) has allowed restaurants to sell iftar items during the holy month of Ramadan.
Confirming the matter to The Business Standard, DMP spokesman Musudur Rahman said the decision has been taken as part of the government's move to relax some shutdown rules.
Earlier on the day, the DMP issued directives allowing the grocery shops and small other shops of daily essentials in residential areas to keep open till 4pm.
