CIS-BCCI and Saudi Arabia explore business opportunities
President of CIS-BCCI (Commonwealth of Independent States-Bangladesh Chamber of Commerce and Industry) Mr Mohammad Ali Deen, along with his Board of Directors, had a courtesy call on meeting with H.E Mr Essa Yousef Essa Alduhailan, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in Dhaka at the embassy office.
They discussed matters of mutual interest and ways to enhance bilateral trade and economic cooperation between Saudi Arabia and Bangladesh, especially in the private sector.
CIS-BCCI President Mr Mohammad Ali Deen highlighted the activities of the CIS-BCCI Chamber in the private sector forum for promoting trade and economic cooperation between Bangladesh and Saudi Arabia. He emphasised the potentiality of Saudi Arabia's market for Bangladesh in our bid to diversify the export market and diversify products. He believes that strengthening cooperation in culture, sports, and tourism can be vital to expanding long-term economic partnerships.
H.E. Mr. Essa Yousef Essa Alduhailan, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in Dhaka, said Saudi Arabia and Bangladesh were engaged in deep friendship right after Bangladesh's liberation. He emphasised the need to widen the scope for furthering bilateral trade and commerce. He said that Saudi Arabia's medical system is highly technological. He emphasised the benefits of performing Umrah and medical treatment for Bangladeshi.
It was emphasised that Bangladesh has many business opportunities with Saudi Arabia in Automobiles, Jute/Textiles, Pharmaceuticals, Medical Equipment, Handicrafts, Handlooms, Muslim Silk, and Leather.
CIS-BCCI President Mr Mohammad Ali Deen, Directors Mr Md. Hasen Ali, Mr Farukul Islam Shova, Mr Khan Md. Iqbal, Mr Md. Razib Pervez, Adviser Mr Mahbub Islam Runu, Members Mr Md. Dhusor Ahamed and Mr Maulana Eyaqub Sharafati were among others present at the meeting.
