Why is Gen Z viewing reading books as a waste of time?
In 1971, 37% of college students considered achieving financial stability as a primary goal of their college life, while 73% stated that they enrolled in college to develop a meaningful perspective on life. By 2015, these statistics had nearly reversed. 82% of students reported that achieving financial stability was extremely important to them, whereas only 47% expressed a desire to develop a meaningful perspective on life.
