Seals steals the show as West Indies restrict Bangladesh to 227 in 2nd ODI
Their innings faltered early, with Jayden Seales wreaking havoc (4/22) and reducing them to 115/7.
Bangladesh were bowled out for 227 in 45.5 overs after being sent in to bat at Warner Park, St. Kitts on Tuesday.
Their top order collapsed under relentless pressure from Jayden Seales, who delivered a brilliant spell, taking 4/22 in his nine overs.
Support from Gudakesh Motie (2/45) and Romario Shepherd helped reduce Bangladesh to 115/7.
Mahmudullah anchored the innings with a composed 56, while Tanzim Hasan Sakib contributed 44.
Their crucial 92-run stand provided resistance. Shoriful Islam's late cameo (15 off 8) added quick runs, but Bangladesh's score fell short of a par total on a good batting surface.
Speaking after the innings, Gudakesh Motie shared insights about adapting his bowling strategy: "I slowed my pace after advice from the bowling coach, and it worked well today."
West Indies will feel confident chasing 228, provided their top order gives them a strong start.
