LG’s new lamp doubles as a mini garden inside your home
LG Electronics is set to introduce its latest indoor gardening appliances which blend innovative plant cultivation technology with modern design
What if your indoor garden works as a lamp? Or vice-versa? Probably not many people were asking for or even thinking of such a product, yet they will probably get it once the gadget hits the market.
LG Electronics is set to showcase its latest indoor gardening appliances at Consumer Electronics Show (CES) 2025, which blend innovative plant cultivation technology with modern design, reports The Verge.
The flagship model features a sleek, upright design with a circular lampshade and base. It provides a larger growing space than previous LG models, accommodating taller plants and a variety of greens, herbs, flowers, and fruits.
Height-adjustable LED lights and a 1.5-gallon water tank ensure optimal growing conditions and extended hydration between refills.
The appliance also includes dual lighting: downward-facing grow lights with adjustable intensity for daytime use and upward-facing mood lighting for evenings. This design combines functionality with style, offering both practical and aesthetic value.
With capacity for 20 plants and automatic water and nutrient dispensing, the appliance supports continuous growth cycles. Users can manage cultivation schedules and monitor progress via the LG ThinQ™ app, even when away for up to a week.
Additionally, LG will unveil a side table-inspired gardening appliance at CES, demonstrating versatility in design and functionality.
CES 2025 is set to take place in Las Vegas, USA on 7-10 January this year, showcasing innovative technology and electronic appliances from major brands and startups.
