59 govt officials made non-cadre assistant secretaries

The government has promoted 59 administrative officers and personal officers to the rank of assistant secretary (non-cadre).
The Ministry of Public Administration issued a notification in this regard today (14 January).
According to the notification, these officials have been promoted to the rank of assistant secretary (non-cadre) and appointed as officers on special duty (OSD) at the Ministry of Public Administration.

According to the "National Pay Scale, 2015," they will receive salaries and benefits under Grade 9, the notification added.
