Motorcyclist killed, passenger injured in collision on Dhaka-Mawa Expressway service lane

A motorcyclist was killed and his passenger sustained injuries in a collision between an auto-rickshaw and a motorcycle on the service lane of the Dhaka-Mawa Expressway in Munshiganj's Srinagar.
The accident took place around 8pm yesterday (14 January) on the Dhaka-bound service lane near the Sholghor bus stand.
Locals at the scene rushed the motorcyclist, Joni, 30, and the passenger, Riyad, 26 to the Upazila Health Complex.

Dr Musa Ibrahim of the Upazila Health Complex said, "Joni passed away shortly after being brought to the hospital.
Their residence is in the Lalbagh area of Dhaka, he added.
