Govt publishes gazette listing 834 martyrs of July uprising

The interim government has officially published a gazette documenting the martyrs of the July-August uprising of 2024.
According to the document issued by the Ministry of Liberation War Affairs and dated Wednesday (15 January), the number of martyrs has been recorded as 834.
Signed by Haridas Thakur, deputy secretary of the Ministry of Liberation War Affairs, the gazette provides details including "medical case ID," names of the martyrs, their fathers' names, current addresses, and permanent addresses.

However, the gazette does not mention the specific locations or dates of their martyrdom.
